How much is too much to pay for a cigar? Do you have a personal limit on what you will spend? All my local tobacco stores charge varying prices for the same cigars. I'm beginning to think that this nonsense about "premium" prices for certain cigars is nonsense. I smoked a cigar the other day at my local shop with the store owner. He told me he makes "6-figures" a year. I couldn't believe it!! His shop isn't very big, but it is in a great location. So much for scrapping out a living as a cigar shop owner. I'm amazed that people don't shop around a little more. I'm all for supporting my local tobacco shop, but money does not grow on trees. I usually purchase all my singles at my local shop, and any special edition stuff I'm interested in trying. Most boxes I purchase online. If my local shop has a competitive price, I will purchase from them.

Maybe some day I'll get into the tobacco business and try to make some money!
