Cuban Diplomatico No 2

I had the opportunity to smoke a Cuban Diplomatico No 2 last night. It was a wonderful cigar! The cigar measures 6 1/8 x 52. The color was a very lovely colorado claro. Very rich looking and the wrapper was very oily. The cigar's construction was perfect. Once lit, it burned perfectly. It had a long-lasting floral aroma, and was well balanced. It produced lots of grey smoke and also burned very well.

These are considered strong cigars, and this example lived up to its expectations. It started out humid and spicy, but the taste slowly developed more woodsy flavors as it was smoked. All in all a very pleasurable cigar to smoke that I would not mind trying again!
